Position Summary Description
 
DMPP 9 requires one (1) Knowledge Management Consultant, Intermediate, to support the development of a LL/BP system that will effectively collect, manage and disseminate knowledge gained during the execution of sustainment processes for defence materiel across the three key government departments (DND, PSPC and ISED) involved in defence procurement.
 
Project Tasks
 
Requirements / experience (mandatories)
 
  • must submit a detailed résumé for the proposed resource clearly demonstrating that the resource meets the minimum mandatory requirements (relevant education, relevant professional certifications and/or relevant work experience) for resource category
  • must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of two (2) years of experience, within the last ten (10) years, in developing planning strategies and processes to transfer explicit and tacit knowledge across time and space, including retrieval of critical archived information
  • must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of two (2) years of experience, within the last ten (10) years, in developing, setting up and operating a knowledge management system
 
Assets (rated requirements):
 
  • clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has experience in capturing, evaluating and/or transferring lessons learned and best practices to stakeholders, within the past ten (10) years
  • clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has experience in the sustainment of military equipment, within the past ten (10) years
  • clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has experience in providing mentoring, training and coaching assistance in knowledge management, within the past ten (10) years.
  • clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has experience in writing status reports and the development and writing of action plans of projects, within the past ten (10) years.
  • clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has experience in the use of Microsoft Office Excel for the production of charts, graphs and spreadsheets, within the past ten (10) years
