Inside Sales Associate

inRound is seeking an employee (or associate contractor) to help generate sales orders through inside sales activities.  The individual will work in the Business Development group to penetrate new accounts and setup meeting for introductions about inRound’s professional services and staffing solutions.  The individual will help develop phone and email campaigns to target government and private sector clients primarily in the IT sector.
The opportunity offers a base salary plus commission.
Sales Experience and duties - Inside Sales Associate:

Must have:
  • Strong Communication and Phone Skills
  • Basic Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (excel,WordPoint)Outlook
  • Organizational and interpersonal Skills
  • Mature , Friendly & Professional Demeanor
  • Work well independently and is a Team Player
  • Ability to take initiative and does not require micro-management
  • Experience cold calling – penetrating new accounts, scheduling intro meetings, etc
  • Experience with inside sales – building relationships on the phone, creating/working orders on the phone, scheduling appointments/meetings
Nice to have:
  • Experience in sales with the Federal Government of Canada in the IM/IT industry
  • Experience in Account Management/Account Executive in the IM/IT industry in Ottawa
  • Experience with and willing to penetrate new accounts from the ground up
  • Experience with working and growing new and existing accounts
  • Experience working closely with clients on project and resource requirements and turning them into real orders
 Extra nice to have:
  • Current rolodex of clients in the Public and Private sector in Ottawa
  • Experience and good knowledge of GOC procurement vehicles – TBIPS, THS, PS-Online, TSPS, MERX, etc
