Currently seeking a Senior Project Manager

Our Government client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage the onboarding of the Department onto the hosted GCDocs solution offered by the federal organization.

Contract:  1 year with one additional option year

Project Tasks:

•    Meet with the organization’s IM/IT business units responsible for application management, development, and support to obtain background information and approvals needed;
•    Work with the IM Manager to define Information Architecture (categories, attributes, folders, users and groups, permission model, Records Management/Physical Objects, and LiveReports) to be added to the organization’s standard configuration (referred to as the “Gold Build”);
•    Assess impact of GCDocs with existing applications, infrastructure
•    Complete the organization’s onboarding and readiness assessment;
•    Oversee and support the NPE (non-production environment) received from the organization.
•    Prepare Project Charter, Schedule and assess level of effort of each deliverable;
•    Work with LCMS project team to ensure smooth integration between GCdocs and the case management system;
•    Preparation for deploying the Enterprise Connect application;
•    Oversee and provide support for the desktop integration (Enterprise Connect);
•    Work with quality assurance users/IT for functional testing and application integration testing;
•    Oversee and provide support for User Acceptance Testing (Use Case Scenarios);
•    Ensure GCDocs configuration meets the requirements of the organization;
•    Provide support for change management, learning, support, and user experience;
•    Work with the CIO to ensure the organization’s service level agreement and support model meets the needs of the organization;
•    Preparation and support for migration of records management information from partner departments’  GCdocs to organization-hosted GCdocs;
•    Provide recommendations for monitoring and controlling of the GCDocs application, user experience and data/information;
•    Provide documentation to facilitate ongoing support for GCDocs

Requirements / experience (mandatories):

The applicant MUST demonstrate the following:

•    MUST clearly demonstrate at least 10 years of experience within the last 15 years as a Project Manager on electronic document and records management system (EDRMS) projects.

•    MUST clearly demonstrate experience as a Project Manager on at least 3 separate electronic document and records management system (EDRMS) implementation projects within the last 10 years.
•    MUST have Secret security clearance valid at the bid closure.
•     MUST have a post-secondary degree from a recognized university or diploma in information or records management (or related discipline) OR successful completion of a post-graduate degree in a related speciality such as a Master in Library Science, or a Master in Information Management, or a Master's degree in Library and Information Sciences/Studies from a recognized university.

Asset Qualifications (Rated):
•    A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in good standing (copy of certificate required).
•    Experience (within last 5 years) writing project reports/documentation (including, but not limited to, business cases, project charters, project management plans and risk management plans) for Information Management (IM) projects.
•    Experience (within last 5 years) preparing and delivering project-related presentations to senior management and/or client for an Information Management (IM) projects.
•    Experience (within last 5 years) implementing OpenText electronic document and records management system (EDRMS) products including, but not limited to, Content Server and eDOCS.

•    Hold one or more of the following product certifications  in good standing (copy of certificate required):
    Microsoft CRM Dynamics Certification
    OpenText Content Server Business Consultant Certification
    OpenText Content Server Solution Developer Certification
    OpenText Content Server System Administrator Certification

Security Clearance
MUST possess a valid SECRET level security clearance.
