Currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist for a contract in Ottawa.  All candidates MUST have a Reliability level security clearance and be fluent English.  Only those meeting the requirements below will be contacted.

Position Description:
Duties required for this position include but are not limited to: 
  • Consulting with clients to identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  • Conducting interviews using behavioral and skill assessment techniques
  • Coordinating the placement of ads and coordinating activities with ad agencies
  • Assisting in the administration of Priorities through the Public Service Commission
  • Performing and evaluating reference checks, obtaining further information or verifying information in resumes, and identifying discrepancies in the information collected
  • Assisting in the enforcement of HR policies
  • Taking part in the integrating new employees
Required Experience/Skills: 
Education: Secondary School Diploma
Experience: Minimum of five years of relevant experience
Asset Qualifications:
Demonstration of continuous advancement towards obtaining designation as a Certified Human Resources Professional or Public Service Commission certification may be required
Certificate, diploma or degree in human resources, organizational behavior, social sciences or other relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution is considered an asset
